The Lycaeum Entheogen Database (Leda) was created to organize the complex and ever-expanding web of entheogen information. Leda picks up where our old drug archives left off. Our intent is to absorb all available entheogenic knowledge, cross-reference it for you, and make it browseable through an intuitive interface. This is a community project of immense size and complexity. As volunteers attempt to fill our continually growing vessel with knowledge, we are reminded of how little we actually know about these teachers, and how much research has yet to be done. ContributingWe are always looking for help in the following areas:
Please send new content, bug reports, suggestions, etc. and other database-related items to leda@lycaeum.org. (The only exception is trip reports, which should be sent to trips@lycaeum.org.) To volunteer, please contact volunteer@lycaeum.org. Please describe your qualifications and interests, and provide a URL or sample of your work if available. HistoryThe Leda project began in October, 1999 with development of the SQL database structure. The database structure achieved stability in mid-January, 2000, and work began on the web front-end, written in Perl as a suite of CGI scripts. In July, the code was massaged into an object-oriented framework. In early August, we migrated to mod_perl. This document © 2000 The Lycaeum
